WHAT WE DO

We are juried artisans in metal and mixed media. We like to make what we refer to as "Functional art" which is a classy way of saying "useful stuff that is cool to look at."

Dos Gatos Forge is devoted to creating artwork that combines steel, copper, and exotic stones to enrich your home or office decor. Our knives are hand forged from high carbon steel, San Mai, or Damascus.

Our Mission Statement

Dos Gatos Designs (DGD) is devoted to enriching peoples lives by bringing beauty to the everyday. Through creation of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind objects that merge art and functionality, the ordinary becomes the exceptional.

DGD creates house-wares, home furnishings and decor, jewelry, and fashion accessories from mixed media. The combination of metals, stone, wood, and other natural materials produces an environment reminiscent of a time when craftsmanship and quality were precious commodities and the mainstays of life.
